The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate will encompass the following:
- Repairing molds and tools
- Reading and understanding engineering designs
- Requesting tooling, parts or hardware as needed
- Utilizing toolroom machines and hand tools
- Coordinating with machining area as needed
- Ensuring equipment inspections and quality levels are met
- Troubleshooting molds
- Performing preventative maintenance
The background of the successful candidate must include the following:
- Three or more years of plastic mold repair experience
- Three or more years of toolmaking experience
- Possess a journeyman tool and die card
- Some forklift, lock out, lathe, mill and surface grinder experience
- CAD software understanding
- Possess a solid work history
- Being a US citizen or green card holder
- Having a residence within a 45 minute drive
