The Village Trattoria in South Orange and Maplewood is looking to expand its amazing and friendly staff with dedicated and motivated individuals! We are currently in need of a Pizza Maker/Slice Person with experience in the industry.

At the Trattoria, you will have the opportunity to connect with our amazing customers, impact our growing business, and serve the local community. The Pizza person is responsible for: prepping their station for service, assembling pizzas for orders and for the display case, etc.

About the position:

• As a pizza maker you will have a thorough knowledge and understanding of all pizza items
• Execute orders in an efficient manner
• Ensure food quality and food safety control throughout the cooking process
• Take pride in your work and perform it with energy and friendliness
• Work as a team player while demonstrating outstanding customer service

What we're looking for:

• Our ideal candidate is reliable, courteous, and hardworking
• Possesses an understanding of a gas pizza oven with stone cooking surface and has experience assembling, cooking, slicing, and dressing pizzas
• Must speak and read English

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: Up to $20.00 per hour
