Brief Description of Job Responsibilities:
Provides direct support for recruitment of physicians
Specialized Responsibilities: (This list does not include all of the duties assigned)
- Develops and maintains working knowledge of the health system and regional communities to assist with candidate inquiries.
- Works with Chief Medical Officers, Executive Directors and Department Chairs to profile positions and develop awareness of department needs
- Maintains a current list of open positions; provides bimonthly updates to Chief Medical Officers; maintains a weekly status list of all candidates on active searches.
- Develops and implements successful strategies for recruitment of physicians; selects and attends national and local medical conferences to meet recruitment goals as appropriate.
- Serves as the primary contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process, including pre-screening, scheduling of phone interviews, scheduling and facilitating the on-site visit for candidates and their spouses/significant others.
- Assists with candidate interviews/site visits as follows: Provides tours for candidates and spouses
- Provides support with itineraries as needed
- Assists with the coordination of provider travel & housing arrangements as needed
- Distributes and collects internal and external candidate evaluation forms.
- Prepares recruitment metrics reports, summaries and presentations as needed.

Pay: From $61,984.00 per year
