Job Description:

Goodwill Industries of the Columbia is seeking a full-time instructor. This position facilitates and coordinates the sharing of information in a classroom/computer lab setting. Responsible for supporting the learning styles of individuals with disabilities and/or disadvantaging conditions to ensure they may achieve their highest level of employment. Position continually reviews, updates, and enhances curriculum to accommodate participant and community needs and align with Agency’s mission and funding requirements.

What will you do in this job?

• Develop and lead a variety of job readiness and technology use workshops to help job seekers achieve their highest level of employment
• Teach diverse groups seeking work by leading discussions, developing curriculum, and providing individual support
• Network with community and business leaders, identifying partners to serve as guest speakers to create a connection between job seekers and employers
• Assist job seekers in the computer lab to develop resumes, write cover letters, and search for job leads

Work Schedule

Full-time, hourly position. Days and hours are dependent on business needs, but will occur primarily Monday through Friday.
