PHARMACY TECH - PART TIME - 20 Hours/Week

Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center. We have an opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician. Here in St. Louis we specialize in orthopaedics.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for procuring and distributing medication orders per the physician request and assignments. Maintains adequate stock of medications and supplies according to the needs of assigned drug storage areas. Contributes to the effective operation of the department and participates in quality improvement activities. Meets department standards and maintains competence for Pharmacy Tech role.
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
Pharmacy technician license in state of practice
Preferred:
One year hospital Pharmacy Tech experience
One year purchasing/procurement in hospital environment
Other:
Current full vaccination status required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $21.00 per hour
