PCT/CNA/MA-Acute Care Job at Valley View Hospital
Opportunity for a PCT/CNA/MA in Acute Care! Multiple positions open. 3-12 hour day or night shift available!
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs basic patient care according to established procedures under the supervision of staff RN/LPN, including hygiene, nutrition, I&O and vital sign monitoring.
- Observes patient condition and reports immediately any abnormal symptoms or unusual occurrences.
- Performs specialized skills after additional training and competency verification
- Assists with clerical duties.
- Assists with obtaining accurate heights and weights as directed.
- Performs patient rounding.
- Assists with implementing and monitoring fall prevention precautions.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Completion of Nursing Assistant or equivalent patient care training program and/or past experience preferred
- Current BLS certification.
- High School Diploma or GED required
SALARY RANGE
- $20.00 to $28.87/hour
- Entry salary dependent upon education, skill-set, and experience.
- $2.25/hour evening shift differential when working a minimum of 4 consecutive hours between 3:00pm-11:30pm.
- $4.00/hour night shift differential when working a minimum of 4 consecutive hours between 11:00pm - 7:30am.
