We're looking for a dependable, full-time, Patient Coordinator to work in a busy dermatology office in North Easton. Must be able to work Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm. This role reports to the Front Office Manager.

Job Responsibilities:

  • This team-oriented position is responsible for answering incoming calls; scheduling, rescheduling and canceling patient appointments; directing calls to the proper locations; various operator and administrative duties as assigned
  • Promptly answer the telephone using positive and clear communication
  • Register patient; obtain and enter accurate demographic information into computer system (name, address, date of birth, telephone number, name and identification number of insurance and verification of health insurance)
  • Work closely with referral coordinator to assist with insurance referral requirements
  • Schedule appointments – triage patient problems and schedule to FD Manager or Supervisor
  • Review appointment date, time, location, and provider name with caller
  • Prepare a patient for appointment-what to bring, location, etc (including insurance card, medications, office visit fee, parking, etc.)
  • Remind caller of cancellation/no-show policy
  • Answer questions and offer other information, as requested, to provide patient-focused service and a positive impression of the organization
  • Efficient use of Modmed EMR for appointment scheduling as well as sending messages to providers and coworkers
  • Collaborate and develop strong professional relationships with the Front Desk and Administrative Assistant team members
  • Additional duties as assigned by the Manager to meet department needs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
