Join us! We are looking for an experienced Medical Associate/Front Desk at our Arlington Eye Center location in Arlington VA. Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors.
- Check in patients - updating demographics, insurance, and financial information.
- Schedule appointments and maintain efficiencies of appointments.
- Check out patients - collecting copays, coinsurance, deductibles and accepting charges from EMR.
- Provide attention to patient's needs, answer patient questions and provide information about the practice.
- Maintain confidentiality of patients financial and personal information.
- Provide excellent customer service.
The Perfect Candidate:
- Detail-oriented.
- Able to multitask.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written.
- Knowledge of MS office.
- Knowledge of electronic medical records software is a plus.
- Experience in healthcare is a plus, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish
