Patient Accounts/Billing Coordinator Job at Mountain Valley Orthopedics PC
Mountain Valley Orthopedics is seeking an experienced candidate for a busy multi-specialty practice. The candidate must have strong communication skills and the ability to manage staff and have a minimum of 2 years of medical billing and coding experience.
- Knowledge of insurance reimbursement
- Previous medical office billing experience, including surgery coding required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail oriented, outgoing, and professional
- Team player
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Customer service skills
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of Athena Electronic Medical Records Required
- 2-3 years of supervisor experience preferred in a physician's office required
- Medical Billing and Coding Certificate required
- Mastery of all Microsoft Office with advanced knowledge of Excel
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
