Job Description:

Assist and support all Plant manufacturing functions related to Pasteurizer Blender Relief

Following all Federal & State regulatory requirements pertaining to food manufacturing and documentation including, but not limited to: quality checks, weight checks, temperature checks, leakers, cleanliness of product and rework

Communicating all issues to supervision that may affect quality of product and/or efficiency of machine

Providing an accurate and efficient accounting of all materials handled

Reading production schedules and following oral instructions to ascertain appropriate product and quantities to be manufactured

Operating fillers at established efficiency levels

Operating top box glue and taper, stocking box former and maintaining inventory levels of tape and glue

Locating, removing and accounting for all damaged product and/or leakers

Accounting for all product reworked

Maintaining cleanliness of machine and work area

Performing Clean-In-Place (CIP) on machine when needed

Keeping all machine covers closed and guards in place

Following all good housekeeping and GMP policies

Following all required work safety practices including personal protective equipment, confined space, chemical handling and fall protection

Adhering to all Company policies including, but not limited to; Safety, Security, Quality, SQF, Productivity and Cost Containment

Job Requirements:

Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals

Must be able to stand, walk, push, pull and move for prolonged periods

Must be able to bend at waist, turn and stoop with occasional climbing and balance

Must be able to stack and unstack cases and boxes weighing up to 55 lbs from floor to above shoulder level

Must be able to maintain a certification in material handling equipment (PIT)

Must be able to work in a warm, cold and wet environment

Must be willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays
