CHEER, Inc. is looking for a PASA Placement Coordinator. Duties of this position include:

  • Coordinate client requirements and Direct Care Worker services. Receive referrals by phone from social workers or other agencies for Clients in need of service. Document Clients’ need requirements in file and on computer. Arrange schedule of Direct Care Worker visits to Client residence. Determine which Direct Care Worker is best suited for the Client. Arrange for substitute Direct Care Workers when regularly assigned Direct Care Worker is unavailable. Document any Direct Care Worker change appropriately.
  • Market and promote the use of CHEER services through regular phone contacts with clients, perspective clients and caregivers.
  • Schedule Direct Care Workers to be available for Client care in a manner that is responsive to client needs and minimizes travel time. Maintain all Direct Care Worker and Client files as necessary.
  • Respond to customer service concerns in a courteous, professional and comprehensive manner.
  • Supervise timesheets for Direct Care Workers. Prepare and distribute timesheets for the Direct Care Workers. Receive timesheets from the Direct Care Workers. Calculate and verify hours worked. Turn approved timesheets in to Payroll Department.
  • Prepare initial documentation regarding Direct Care Workers performance issues as appropriate and prepare annual performance evaluations.
  • Compile and prepare reports as required by the Program Director on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Maintain accurate filing system relative to Direct Care Worker and Client information. Document all changes. Document Client records with all required information. Document Direct Care Worker files with all required information including licensing, insurance and contract compliance information. Copy and file all necessary documentation.
  • Monitor service levels to help insure compliance with authorized contract levels. Read, interpret, and comply with different State Service Contracts and different types of funding sources for client care.

This is a Fulltime position, hours are 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday. All full time employees are given competitive benefits packages, 403(b) plan through fidelity, complimentary life insurance coverage, and paid time off!
