The Company:
Vermeer Northwest is a fast-growing equipment dealership selling and servicing machinery that is essential for building and maintaining many parts of infrastructure in the Pacific Northwest and Alaska. The Key Duties For This Role Are:
Learning about Vermeer equipment and supporting products
and using that knowledge to...
Get our customers the parts that they need to keep their equipment working right
Working with the Service Department to quote and order parts for equipment repairs
Assisting customers in a retail environment
Answering customer questions about arborist gear and tooling for Vermeer equipment
Following company procedures and sharing ideas for improvement
Safely operate a forklift (after certification)
Perform regular cycle counts and inventory
Participate in training and continued education through online and in-person platforms
Assisting with shipping and receiving as needed

The Key Skills & Experience For This Role Are:
Bilingual in English and Spanish speaking preferred
Good communication skills; phone, email, in-person
Ability to adjust to changing priorities
Strong attention to detail
Basic computer skills
Experience in dealership Parts Department roles

Physical Requirements:
The ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly
The ability to stand and walk for an 8+ hour shift with breaks
The ability to climb a ladder

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $28.00 per hour
