Parts Clerk Job at Timco Logistics
Timco Logistics Systems, LLC a premier multimodal transportation provider is seeking a Parts Clerk out of our Pasadena, Texas facility. This position will be responsible for parts procurement, purchasing and inventory. This is a full time, day shift position with a progressive and rapidly growing company!
Parts Clerk will be responsible for:
- Ordering parts and maintaining an inventory for the Pasadena terminal.
- Knowledge of diesel engine and tractor and trailer parts.
- Supervise, train, and assist team members in inventory control.
- Record frequent problems and research potential solutions.
- Monitors core inventory to ensure proper stock level.
- Ensures maintenance of a safe, clean, and orderly parts department.
- Maintains effective working relationship with maintenance staff, drivers, and office personnel.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Class 8 knowledge (Preferred)
- Customer Service Skills
- Forklift Certified (Preferred)
- Can lift up to 75lbs
- Bilingual Required
