Examples of Duties and Responsibilities
1. Conduct public policy research on behalf of the County Administration.
2. Gathers data to meet specific project objectives utilizing a wide range of sources.
3. Assists in the development of reports explaining research data.
4. Reach out to other units of government and request documentation/data.
5. Arranges meetings with specific audiences to identify or clarify research goals.
6. Manages data using statistical analysis processes and project management techniques.
7. Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and an area of study in: Public Policy, Political Science, Finance, Business or a related field.
Physical Requirements
The employee may be required to walk or move up to 200 feet from primary desk. The employee is occasionally required to stand and stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
