Part-Time Receptionist
General Description:
Welcome all who come into or telephone the parish office and provides administrative related office services to staff and members of parish committees and groups.
Reports to: Pastor Employment: 12-21 hours per week Classification: Non-Exempt
Duties are but not limited to the following:
- Good Communication Skills (both in person & on phone)
- Answer phones and assess what is needed then transfer to the appropriate person
- Greet anyone coming in and contact the correct staff member via the phone system that someone is here for them.
- Must be able to multi-task (phones and walk-ins happen at the same time)
- Stuff Bulletins with inserts
- Help staff with anything that can be done at the front desk
- Available for staff meetings
Position Qualifications:
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Good Communication Skills
- Demonstrates the ability to set priorities and organize work effectively
- Basic Computer skills necessary
- Works well with general public and is able to represent the parish favorably in all interactions
- Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality
Work Schedule:
With some flexibility, but primarily Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
