Part Time Medical Receptionist - John D McLaughlin MD Job at PHPprime
Primary Care Physicians office is looking for a part-time (22-28 hours a week) front desk position. A 90-day trial will be given before offering this as a permanent part-time position. M-F / 7:45 AM - 5:00 PM (1 1/2 lunch 1/2 hour of lunch is paid) No weekends. Must be available to cover vacation/sick days for co-workers.
MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 2 YEARS MEDICAL FRONT DESK EXPERIENCE AND EMR EXPERIENCE.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Checking in patients as they arrive, insurance/demographic verification
- Patient scheduling, answering phones in a high volume setting
- Referrals to specialists
- Additional responsibilities will be added as you get comfortable with the position
- Work experience in a medical office
- EMR knowledge
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Excellent organizational skills
- Multitasking and time-management skills
Pay: $20.00 per hour
