Part-Time 7-12 Teachers - Virtual Learning Academy Job at Broome-Tioga BOCES
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
$4,500 Stipend per semester
BT BOCES is looking for NYS certified teachers to teach virtually for our Virtual Learning Academy. The VLA is an innovative virtual academy with students coming together from many of our regional school districts. Instruction will include designing and implementing asynchronous work through a digital program (Google Classroom and Edgenuity) as well as planning and teaching synchronous lessons 1-2 a week, depending on the course taught. Although some synchronous instruction might take place during the day, most will be between 3:00-4:00. Teachers should be available between 3:00-4:00 for synchronous lessons and office hours to assist students as needed.
In order to provide a diverse course catalog for our students, we are anticipating openings in the following areas: Math, ELA, Science, Social Studies, Spanish, French, Family and Consumer Science, Technology, Art, Music, and Health
