Paramedic - PACE Ambulance Service Job at Stephens Memorial Hospital
PACE Paramedic Service, a department of Stephens Memorial Hospital, is seeking qualified Paramedics to fill positions on their highly skilled and motivated team. Our base wages start at $20.23/hour. We offer generous differentials for 2nd shift, 3rd shift, weekends and holidays. You are compensated with a bonus if you are held over the end of your shift on a call! We provide regular paid training including all required certifications (CPR, ACLS, etc.).
Position Summary
The Paramedic provides both basic and advanced life support during emergency pre-hospital and inter-facility transfer care to patients when indicated by the patient’s injury or illness in accordance with state and local protocols.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Education: N/A
- License/Certifications: Maine Paramedic license. Valid Maine driver’s license. AVOC/EVOC required within six months of employment. CPR (AHA). IS100/700. PIFT Certified.
- Experience: N/A
- Must be 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Annual Skills Assessment
- Annual Respiratory Fit Testing
