What You’ll Do

• Perform high level painting of interior/exterior surfaces for protection and decoration by patching, texturing, priming, sanding and/or caulking.

• Responsible for operating and cleaning paint equipment, including scaffoldings, sanders, sprayers, compressors, brushes, rollers, etc.

• Spread drop cloths, move furnishings, equipment, or other obstacles to protect equipment and surrounding area.

• Remove fixtures and other items from walls to finish and refinish woodwork and cabinets.

• Maintain knowledge of changing facilities methods, codes, and products to ensure adherence on all projects.

• Maintain basic knowledge of chemical safety, material safety data sheets, and small spill cleanup.

What it Takes

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience

• 5+ years of related work experience

• Ability to read and understand plans, specifications, and scopes of work.

• Proven ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships.

• Experience providing guidance and direction to subcontractors.

• Ability to manage multiple items, prioritize effectivesly, and react to change orders.

• Time management and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication skills.
