If you have prior warehouse experience or are looking to start your career within our Supply Chain, this could be a perfect opportunity for you! As a full-time Warehouser, you'll support our Consolidated Service Center Department in Warrendale, PA. The schedule for this position is overnight primarily 8:00pm-4:00am, Sunday through Thursday. Free parking is available. Earn some extra money with our new and improved shift differential programs during evening/overnight hours!

As a Warehouser on the evening/overnight shift, the team member has the opportunity to be cross-trained across many aspects of the operation and all team members are responsible for achieving overall warehouse goals in Cost, Quality, and Productivity as set forth by current standards.

Responsibilities:

• Driver Responsibilities: Safely operate 26-foot box trucks to deliver palletized medical products across the distribution network. Deliver all materials and equipment to requesting customers in a timely manner while maintaining a professional attitude during all interactions with hospital personnel. Comply with all local, city, state, and federal traffic regulations while operating UPMC vehicles. Ensure customer service levels are met by maintaining the scheduled delivery times, delivering products damage-free, and placed in designated areas at each facility. All returns are brought back daily and staged appropriately at the Warehouse.
• Machine Operator Responsibilities: Safely operate aerial equipment at heights of up to 35 feet to support the movement of palletized material within the warehouse. Utilize Warehouse Management System to validate inventory and replenish picking locations for the next shift. Escalate any inventory discrepancies to the appropriate overnight analyst for root cause analysis. Proper pre-trip and post-trip of all powered equipment used during shift.
• Receiver Responsibilities: Receive, inspect, and verify the accuracy of all inbound freight. Utilize receiving modules and technology to create receipts. Organization and storage of all packing slips are required. Compare purchase order amount to shipped goods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to handle heavy material using manual and mechanized material handling equipment.
• Receiving and inventory experience preferred.
• Good communication skills are required.
