Full Time Hours: Third shift position. 6:00 p.m. – 5:00 a.m. with staggered start times

Flexible Schedules: Five days on - Two off. Must be able to work weekends and holidays

Summary

Bedford Transportation, LLC is seeking to fill 3rd Shift Swing Driver positions to help facilitate our growing business. Looking for immediate hire of serious drivers only. Staggered start times between 6:00 p.m. - 5:00 a.m. Candidates must have a non-CDL Class C license (or higher). The optimal candidate will be highly motivated, organized, reliable, and professional. Excellent communication skills and a clean driving record are required for all candidates.

Responsibilities

• Bagging and organizing product for delivery and storage in warehouse in a timely manner
• Prepping materials for use on the same and/or following day
• Communicating with different departments within establishment to achieve goals
• Learning routine routes that can change at any time and being able to adapt to changes
• Delivering products and accounting for all products before and after deliveries
• Communicating with various chefs and restaurant coordinators concerning deliveries
• Obtaining signatures at deliveries and returning invoices to accounting department
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment including delivery vehicles
• Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months professional delivery driving experience
• Able to lift, push and pull 70 pounds
• Strong customer service and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate professionally with individuals at all levels including within company and customers
• Ability to speak, read and write English language
• Clean driving record and DMV report
• Experience within the perishable food industry a plus
• Must have non-CDL Class C License (or higher)
• Must be badged for Midway Airport (mandatory).
• DOT Medical card is required

Salary:

Biweekly Base Pay: $1,788- $2,200 (Plus $1,000 Sign On Bonus Guaranteed after one year of service); available Overtime
