Responsibilities:

• Create a smooth, efficient and care free experience for all patients
• Assist the doctor during general or orthodontic dental procedures
• Prepare tray setups, sterilize equipment and maintain adequate supply levels
• Seat patients and explain treatment
• Maintaining accurate records of patients' oral health histories and treatment progress
• Taking intraoral X-rays of patients’ mouths
• Taking dental molds of patients’ teeth for the fabrication of customized mouth guards and retainers
• Adjusting retainers and ensuring aligners fit properly
• Removing and replacing wires, coil springs, donuts, and elastic bands
• Educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices and braces aftercare

Qualifications:

• 1-year + orthodontic assistant experience
• Upbeat friendly disposition
• Motivated self-starter
• Reliable, punctual and responsible
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor in accordance with company policy
• Flexible to work between our two locations in Patchogue and West Babylon

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
