Operator I, Production Job at Emcore
- Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work under direct supervision
- Update manual and computerized status reports and logs per department requirements.
- Perform basic assembly tasks using tools such as jewelers screwdrivers, tweezers, cutters, soldering iron.
- Work under a microscope to do assembly tasks
- Apply epoxies, masking and coasting to products.
- Prepare fragile parts for assembly
- Operate cure ovens
- Run simple test (for example , QRS11 calibration rate tables , plasma cleaners, ASIC tester
- Flex 1 position up/down within the assembly line
- Understand Kan Ban requirements and basic Lean awareness, including standardized work instructions
- Assignments are generally limited to one product
- Be proficient in 25% of the line requirement for one product
- Perform other jobs related duties as assigned
- Work with Microscope
- Fine Dexterity
- Good Attitude
Experience not necessary, training provided.
Due to the nature of the products manufactured, all employees much be a U.S. Person either by U.S. Citizenship or Green Card.
