Location: Operations Department

Hours: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm, Monday – Friday

Pay: $17.50, depending on experience.

The experience you need to succeed:

  • One year to three years of similar or related experience.
  • Must have High School diploma or equivalent G.E.D.
  • Operation of business machinery to include copier/fax/scanner, computers and ten-key calculators.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel.
  • Mathematical skills.

What you’ll do:

  • Quality Assurance – Document Uploads to confirm policy and procedures were followed.
  • QA support – Work closely with QA to assist with procedural questions.
  • BSA Processing – Process Currency Transaction and Negotiable Instrument reporting.
  • Research - Subpoenas, branch research, and member research
  • IRA Processing – Create IRA documents, and review transactions for accuracy, RMD processing and process year end and tax reporting.
  • Cash Ordering – Work with the armored carrier for branch cash order and the FED for the main vault cash orders.
  • Branch Cash Balancing – Work closing with branch teams regarding their cash balancing to assure all funds are accounted for.
  • Deceased Member Doc Review – Review documents to confirm compliance is followed prior to paying out funds.
  • Legal Doc Review – Review Business Documents, Power of Attorney, Conservatorship, Custodial, Probate, etc. and decision changes to accounts.
  • Counterfeit Notes – Review and follow up counterfeit notes received at a branch and processed with the Secret Services.
  • Account Number Changes – Process Account Number Changes and report concerns to the Fraud Dept.
  • IRS TIN/SSN Name Matching – Process new member files with the IRS to confirm TIN/SSN Names will be reported accurately on 1099-INTs.
  • Work closely with branch team members to assist with branch operational procedures.
  • Cross Train to learn all functions within the Branch Operations Dept.
  • Other miscellaneous tasks as assigned by Operations Management Team.
  • Understands the Bank Secrecy Act and how it is applied.

The person in this position will be responsible for back-office operations such as: process IRA requests, Fed & Cashman Cash orders, Branch Cash Balancing, Buy/Sell and Transfer Clearing outages, Deceased Member Document Reviews, New Account Legal Document Reviews, Counterfeit Notes, Account Number Changes, CTRs, NILs, IRS Compliance, and will work closely with and support branch team members with operational procedures.
