Operations Manager Job at Green Forest Products
We are a small import company with a focus on logistics seeking a candidate with operations management experience. Must have experience in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office applications. Must have acute attention to detail, good customer service skills and ability to prioritize work in a fast paced environment. Must be willing to travel when required. Logistics, international trade or plywood background helpful.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting Sales Manager and coordinating logistics
- Producing purchase and sales reports
- Entering Purchase Orders and Sales Orders
- Maintaining customer relationships
- Design and approve new brochures and technical literature
- Visit existing or prospective warehouse
- Define and direct future plans for product and/or market expansion
- Source, negotiate contracts, and maintain relationships with trucking companies, warehouses and steamship lines
- Conduct inventory location physical counts
- Assist office staff by communicating with warehouses and trucking companies
- Manage transportation and inventory levels
- Maintain checks and balances for accurate data in all systems for reporting inventory levels
- Salary established based on experience and skills
- Monthly health allowance and company insurance available for purchase
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $52,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
