Roles and Responsibilities-Operational Manager

Under your managerial role, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Management and Supervision of general cleaners and floor teams. This includes ensuring schedule jobs are completed in a timely manner, hiring/staffing of qualified floor/carpet techs, floor care product inventory, floor care equipment maintenance, fleet management/maintenance and other duties as assigned by President, Deborah Harmon.
  • This role comes with a company vehicle.
  • Cleaning is mandatory in this role as you will have to cover in the event of call outs, coverage, etc.
  • In addition to the description above, you will continue to carry out the manager responsibilities and expectations as outlined upon hire (see manager’s responsibility & expectation form). This includes cleaning of buildings when necessary, staffing of assigned sites (see assigned sites above), completing customer service visits and inspections of assigned sites (see assigned sites above), delivery of supplies when needed and assisting in other areas as assigned by President, Deborah Harmon.
  • Work week shall consist of five (5) or more, productive days /nights per week which will include: Customer Service visits, Building Inspections, Employee Training, & Deliveries. Weekend work is expected when the job dictates it. For example, anytime Special projects, Customer Service Appointments, Inspections or Fill in for Employees at Job Sites.
  • Cleaning of Buildings when necessary. The manager will be expected to clean buildings when it is necessary for an employee to be out on vacation, sick, did not show for work, or any other employee type of leave.
  • The Manager will also be responsible for delivery of supplies to certain sites when it is necessary. Not all employees are able to come to office.
  • Training of New Employees and Retraining of Employees who may need additional training.
  • Customer Service Visits
  • Assisting in other areas where ever necessary
  • Communication concerning all issues within job sites and potential concerns. Communication must be daily or as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year

Experience:

  • Janitorial: 1 year (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

  • 50% (Preferred)
