Now, we are expanding Virgo to create the leading clinical trial platform for diseases involving endoscopy. Our initial focus has been inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), where we are already helping leading trial sponsors increase patient recruitment by over 5x.

Job Description

Virgo is actively seeking a high-velocity Operations Associate to support operations, finance, marketing, and sales enablement efforts. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with a fast-growing startup in various departments before choosing a specialty. If you like the idea of a job that changes day to day, and sometimes hour by hour, yet is always interesting and challenging, this is the position for you! The salary range for this role is $40,000 - $50,000. Some domestic travel will be required for this position.

Reports To

Toni Schach, Chief of Staff

In this role, you'll get to:

  • Support the Chief of Staff with day-to-day operations and team culture initiatives
  • Work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager to support conference planning, email marketing, deck design, and other sales enablement efforts
  • Actively participate in future growth through the support of HR and recruiting
  • Work on ad hoc projects to support the leadership team
  • Be a Swiss army knife, flexing into different departments as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2-3 years prior work experience
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Independent and proactive work style with an inquisitive demeanor
