Administrative Assistant (Hyde Park Restaurant Group - Corporate Office)

The Hyde Park Restaurant Group is seeking an Administrative Assistant to work at our corporate office in Beachwood, OH. We are a stable company with 12 properties in 5 states and have been in business for over 34 years! We are growing and looking for additional support roles.

SUMMARY: This role is purely administrative in nature, and entails assisting any department in day-to-day operations. Only local candidates with administrative experience will be considered. This is a full-time, in-person, salaried role at our corporate office. The position entails a 5-day work week, Monday-Friday, 8:30-5:30.

Administrative Assistant Job Duties:

  • Proofreading manuals, documents, memos, and letters
  • Organizing meetings, events, and deadlines using Microsoft Outlook
  • Preparing for, and following-up on, meeting action items by supporting the development of key materials
  • Preparing external meetings by ensuring they have all the information necessary to be productive and engaged.
  • Setting-up and helping coordinate follow-ups, and serves as support for key priorities.
  • Assisting in communications by drafting updates, reports, presentations, and other marketing materials utilizing spreadsheets, databases, and other publishing applications
  • Helping facilitate completion of special projects by organizing, coordinating information, and communicating requirements
  • Utilizing email, electronic calendars, and other office support software for time management and meeting coordination.
  • Logging critical information and maintenance of supporting documentation
  • Updating and prepare training materials
  • Booking travel hotels, flights & rental cars
  • Creating expense reports and following up on expense
  • Data entry
  • Open Table/Reservation System Management

Skills/ Qualifications of the Executive Assistant:

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong time management skills and organizational skills
  • Strong presentation skills and particular expertise in designing effective charts, graphs, and tables.
  • Highest level of integrity and management of confidential information
  • Willingness to learn database management and work with relational databases
  • Willingness to travel when required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate clearly and concisely to intended audiences
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines, work from a list
  • Ability to recognize, create, and take initiative on upcoming opportunities to achieve organizational objectives
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1+ years of experience
