Position:

This is a fully remote, online math position where all lessons will be provided, but you will add your teaching style to the remote classroom. We are looking for fun and energetic teachers that want to work part-time and with students of ages 8 to 14 years old or in grades 1st-12th Grade. Our classes are fun and interactive so we require teachers to be as fun and energetic as possible.

YOU WILL BE ABLE TO CHOOSE WHICH GRADES YOU WANT TO TEACH

We utilize Zoom's whiteboard, digital whiteboard and IXL. No training is provided so teachers must know how to utilize platforms, you will only receive Optional videos that you may see for extra guidance.

Application Expectations:

In order to continue the interview process, you must send a 5-10 minute video demonstrating your fun and enthusiastic side as if you were welcoming students into the classroom and getting ready to start a lesson.

Availability:

We are looking for teachers that can teach at least 15 hours per week. You get to set your own schedule with the hours that you like, but commitment is expected. Our classes will run once a week on any day that you are available. Upon hiring you must provide an entire school year availability. All of our tutoring sessions run for 25 minutes

Requirements:

• Have minimum of 1 year online teaching experience
• Be able to pass a background check
• Be tech savvy as we utilize programs like Boomlearning, Nearpod, Blooket & Zoom
• Be able to screenshare, split the screens, annotate, mute students, allow students into zoom, place students in the waiting room when in zoom
• Be able to send a 5 minute video demonstrating your fun and energetic side as if you were welcoming a class and telling us of your online teaching experience
• Must have reliable hi-speed internet AND hotspot
• Must be able to teach in a clear, fun, and energetic manner
• Must be responsible with timing
• Must have experience teaching Math (MINIMUM 2 YEARS)

Pay: $14.00 - $30.00 per hour
