What You'll Do

    • Maintain a space that is inspiring, productive, welcoming, and unique to Bambee.
    • Greet all employees, guests, and vendors with a welcoming manner.
    • Assist with granting guests and vendors with (approved) access to our space.
    • Assist with keeping the office neat, organized, and professional and encouraging team members to do the same.
    • Maintain a clean and neat appearance of reception/waiting area.
    • Monitor for incoming messages through email, slack, etc. and respond accordingly.
    • Generate/maintain/update various reports including but not limited to daily activity reports, incident reports, key log, and sign-in sheets.
    • Act in a lawful manner while in defense of the property, staff and environment they are in charge of.
    • Assist with tasks associated with day-to-day running of the office including mail management and distribution, and reception desk duties.
    • Assist with scheduling meetings and interviews from members of the executive team and other departments, as needed
    • Assist with employee/"company" events by organizing the office and setting up equipment and supplies.
    • Collect packages from delivery vendors and assist with distribution, as needed.
    • Regularly walk our space, including entrances/exits on foot monitoring for safety and/or security issues. Promptly reporting any issues.
    • Provide employee escorts, as needed.
    • Maintain visitor security procedures including signing in/out of all guests/vendors/3rd party staff.
    • Learn in-house security system software, functions, and reporting.
    • Assist as a first aid attendant (Training will be provided).
    • Assist with initiating response procedures, in the event of an emergency.
    • Assist with running local facility-related errands.
    • Perform other duties as assigned and/or requested.

Requirements

    • California state guard card
    • At least 1 year of experience
    • Ability to courteous and approachable to guests and employees
    • Detailed understanding of best security policies and practices.
    • Ability to work alone or as part of a team
    • Ability to react appropriately in stressful situations
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills
    • Ability to solve problems as they arise
