We are looking for an exceptional self starter to joing out team here at Greater Shreveport Bossier Auto Auction.

The Office & Hiring Coordinator is responsible for assisting the auction and its managers with their recruiting and onboarding needs. This position will also be assisting in the front office on a regular basis. The right canidate will need to have great attention to detail and confidentiality.


Essential Functions:

Responsible for:

  • Work with managers to on recruiting for staffing needs
  • Review resumes and applications prior to forwarding to managers.
  • Assist in scheduling interviews.
  • Work with HR to start onboarding process.
  • Assist new hires as needed with the onboarding process.
  • Provide efficient and courteous service at all times.
  • Always exhibit ‘hands on’ and direct approach with new hires.
  • Assist with day to day front counter procedures.
  • Answer phone calls and take messages as needed.
  • Work well independently as well as a team player.
  • Timely communication of issues that may be deemed as detrimental to the success of operations to Management.
  • Performs other duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent


Experience:

Previous Recruiting or HR assistance experience is preferred.

Previous General office experience.

Previous data entry skills preferred


Skills:

Should be highly organized, self motivated and self disciplined. Highly customer service orientated. Computer proficient. Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.


Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years of age


Environment:

The environment of the Office & Hiring Coordinator involves working in a fast-paced environment.

Those working in this position are subject to repeated hours working at a computer while sitting at a desk.
