Visiting Nurse and Hospice for VT and NH White River Junction, VT 05001

    PURPOSE

      This role is responsible for the coordination of various administrative and clerical tasks around the office, such as sorting and distribution incoming mail, preparing outgoing mail, answering the phone, redirecting calls as needed, maintaining files and records, utilizing office appliances, such as photocopier, printer, fax, etc. and maintaining resource inventory.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
      • Sorts and distributes incoming mail on daily basis.
      • Prepares outgoing mail and packages, utilizing postage meter and coordinating shipments through FedEx, UPS and USPS on daily basis.
      • Answers incoming calls and redirect, as needed.
      • Maintains accurate and timely records of all files needed.
      • Proficiently utilizes as all office applicants, such as photocopier, printer, fax, etc.
      • Supports clinical staff and management as primary contact for all medical resources and durable medical equipment (DME.)
      • Maintains appropriate resource levels in each drop site location and conducts routine inventories items kept on site; monitors expiration dates when applicable
      • Serves as primary liaison between vendors and clinical staff, tracks DME to assure timely and accurate deliveries and pickup to patient homes.
      • Monitors formulary utilization and other metrics related to supply management.
      • Responsible for vaccine storage and monitoring, when applicable.
      • Facilitates any required processes related to accounts payable; (i.e. uploading of invoices/statements, researching missing invoices, obtaining w-9 forms, etc.)
      • Attends daily Safety Huddle to communicate any pertinent information.
      • Responsible for Company Amazon account and other electronic procurement.
      • Participates in Request For Proposals (RFP) process and contracting outside support when necessary.
      • Performs all other duties as assigned.
    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
      • Strong organizational and communication skills with an attention to detail
      • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
      • Ability to lift weights of up to 30 lbs. and push carts weighing in excess of 100 lbs., in accordance with D-H Safety and Ergonomic guidelines.
    REQUIRED LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS/REGISTRATIONS SKILLS (Tracked at the department level)
      Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required, in accordance with D-H’s Driver and procedures .
