Leading International Logistics Company in Long Beach is seeking a skilled FCL Export Operations Coordinator for their Ocean Freight Department! This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in Ocean Freight who is seeking the chance to continue their growth and professional development in freight forwarding. Schedule: M-F 8AM to 5PM
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the coordination of FCL Export Shipments from A to Z
- Assist customers with the shipment process to include bookings, quotes/rates, tracking/tracing, scheduling pickups, and invoicing
- Enter shipment data into the Company's system
- Provide updates to clients on potential shipment delays in a proactive manner
- Maintain strong relationships with steamship lines, trucking companies, etc.
- Ensure compliance is met at all times for internal and external rules and regulations
- Follow customer established SOPs at all times
- Respond to internal and external emails/requests in a timely manner
Desired Qualifications
- 1-2 year of experience in Export Operations for Ocean Freight
- FCL and/or LCL Shipping Knowledge
- Customer Service Experience
- Computer skills
- Interpersonal skills

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Signal Hill, CA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- FCL / LCL: 1 year (Preferred)
- Ocean Export coordinating: 1 year (Preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
