Job Description
Objective: To sell and market urgent care & occupational health medical services to local businesses, schools, medical professionals, municipalities within the surrounding communities. The primary focus of this role will be to increase the patient counts per day and drive patient mix by increasing the number of local businesses and scope of our services utilized. Reports to: Director of Marketing & Business Development Primary Responsibilities (including, but not limited to)
  • Occupational Medicine client retention and support. Be the liason between center manager, director and client to ensure that client has received information requested, i.e. results, reports, statements.
    • Set up new accounts in EMR
    • Updates to client profile billing/contacts/addresses/email to ensure up to date data on client
    • Interface with sales, billing & accounting department to troubleshoot any variances/issues that may arise
    • Provide client lab information as requested
  • Collaborates with billing department to develop a process for managing and the prompt collection of outstanding accounts receivable
  • Daily review of accounts receivable and account engagement for aging AR
  • Daily review of all occ med visits and ensure all have assigned employers and are being invoiced properly.
  • Review all occ med visits for accuracy and work closely with center administrators to ensure proper occ med patient registration and documentation
  • Develop and grow relationships with various stakeholders on the client-side to ascertain business needs and add long term value
  • Monitor and analyze customer’s usage of AFC services (occ med / work comp visits)
  • Up sell services to clients where/when available – look for opportunities!
  • Develop strategies to increase market awareness of occupational health services to major businesses in the area.
  • Email updates – quarterly email to all clients to provide key information on the latest occupational medicine standards, benchmarks and industry updates to better inform our partners.
  • Represent the company through calling on local businesses, medical practices, presentations or industry events and assume full accountability for the ongoing management of these opportunities.
  • Liason with medical specialties and medical centers i.e. cardiologist, orthopedics etc. so our centers have expedited access for specific specialties.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant education
  • Successful experience developing, implementing and achieving results with Sales and Marketing strategies, B2B & face to face sales appointments, cold and warm calling including but not limited to direct-to-consumer, business and physicians.
  • Strong organization and communication skills. Creatively and cooperatively work in a fast-growing organization setting standards of business planning and skills.
  • Possess the skills to be independent, motivated and results-driven on establishing new business, following through with communications with all accounts and being held accountable for the growth in business.
  • Most importantly – great personality and desire to become a part of a growing business in an exciting industry!
