Qualifications:
- Must be currently State certified as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of Wisconsin.
- Must be either a nursing student currently enrolled in a program leading to a Registered Nurse or Practical Nurse licensure or a Graduate Nurse who has failed the licensure board examination no longer than 1 year previously.
- Must have successfully passed a course on medication administration as part of the nursing school curriculum and be competent to practice in this area as verified by the course instructor(s).
Job Responsibilities:
- Under the Direct supervision of a Registered Nurse would prepare, administer and record oral, nasal, rectal, inhalant, ophthalmic, topical, intramuscular, subcutaneous and per tube scheduled medication to resident.
- Performs delegated nurse tasks commensurate with educational preparation and demonstrated abilities.
- Complete all required documentation per company policy, accurately and promptly
