You will walk around the neighborhoods and provide care for New Yorkers who are experiencing homelessness. This can include giving Covid tests/vaccinations, wound care, and basic essential care.
You will be outdoors and on their feet for their entire shift. See below for some more details:

Nurse Practitioner
Requirements:
- You must be interested in working with the homeless population
- Family or Adult,Geriatric NP
- NY State Licensed
Responsibilities:
- Treating the homeless
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses
- Prescribe necessary medications and treatments
- maintaining patient medical records and documentation
- will be screening for chronic conditions, managing substance use disorders, providing vaccinations, wound care, etc.
- APPs will be on their feet and walking around during their shift
- Project runs Mon – Fri from 10 am – 6 pm
- Must commit to at least 2 shifts a week
