Tatte Bakery & Cafe is rapidly growing and we invite you to grow your career with us! We are looking for experienced Kitchen Managers and Sous Chefs that have a passion for comforting food, the development of teams, and excellent guest service.

Every day, our cafes bustle with guests eager to experience everything we have to offer. Our Kitchen Managers and Sous Chefs play an important role within our cafes. Our Kitchen Managers manage the fast-paced energy and high volume in the café and oversee all operations in our scratch-kitchens. The Kitchen Managers lead and inspires the café savory kitchen team to exceed our guest’s expectations at every opportunity by producing amazing dishes from scratch while upholding the execution of Tatte’s service and product standards. Tatte Kitchen Managers embody the passion we have for our savory team members (prep cooks, line cooks, and dishwashers) by proactively developing them as a team and as individual culinary professionals.

Your recipe for success:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience, depending upon formal degree or training within a high-volume sophisticated restaurant operation.
  • Proven passion for culinary excellence and exceeding guest expectations.
  • Love amazing food and people.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, cost controls, and presentation.

Working Conditions / Essential Functions:

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs (including but not limited to, days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and as emergencies arise)
  • Able to work ten hour-plus shifts, plus ability to stand, sit, squat or walk for extended periods of time, walk up and down stairs, and read
  • Able to grasp, reach overhead, push, lift and carry up to 50 pounds
