Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for a Nonprofit Program Manager for our client, a wonderful well-established nonprofit providing essential resources and services to underserved people in Medford, OR! This position is for immediate hire and offers an incredible opportunity to grow and contribute to a welcoming team!
The Program Manager will manage a team who works in direct service to individuals and/or families impacted by local wildfires to assist in establishing stability. This position will support housing stability throughout the region and greatly impact community recovery.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide a positive, trauma-informed, thoughtful, focused approach, embracing consistency, attention to detail, and creativity
  • Oversight of the program to ensure participant support, documentation, reporting, and time management throughout the program staff
  • Collaborate on creating, implementing, and monitoring the annual budget
  • Develop manuals, procedures, training plans, and work plans for program staff
  • Implement continuous learning opportunities and training for staff, specifically centered around evidence-based case management and trauma informed support
  • Set and track operational goals
  • Approve vouchers, reimbursement forms, and purchase requests
  • Assist in interviewing and hiring new team members
  • Partner with the Department Director and Finance Compliance Manager to develop work plans for the State and Federal programs, making amendments necessary according to State and Federal regulations
  • Work alongside the Department Director to ensure overall project and program success
  • Ensure HMIS (Homeless Management Information System) is updated according to State and Federal regulations
Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience in social services, or similar field, with a demonstrated ability of working with issues related to homelessness, substance abuse, mental health, and individuals with a history of trauma
  • A strong alignment to the organization’s mission
  • Extensive program management experience, preferably for a nonprofit organization
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and guide supervisors and staff providing direct service to vulnerable populations
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Experience managing monthly program budgets and reporting regulatory compliance
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Highly capable of remaining professional and handling confidential information when working with people in difficult situations
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites
  • Valid Oregon Driver’s license with a good-standing driving record
Compensation:
This position offers a yearly salary of $60K - $80K along with full benefits including medical, flexible spending account, health savings account, dental, vision, and more!
