Non-Emergency Medical Transport Driver Job at Saferide Medical Transport LLC
We are looking for a dependable/flexible full-time driver in the CHARLOTTESVILLE AREA with proven work ethics and strong interpersonal skills to transport wheelchair and non-wheelchair passengers to and from appointments.
***DRIVER***
-Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check.
-Must be able to pass pre-employment Drug Screening.
-Must have a working Cell Phone to facilitate communication.
-Must be ready to start work immediately.
-Must be at least 21 years old to apply.
-Must have a valid Driver's License with a Clean Driving Record.
-Must be willing to provide a Driving Record.
-Must know how to utilize GPS maps.
-Must utilize hand-free devices (such as Bluetooth headsets).
-Must frequently lift and or move up to 100 pounds or more.
TRAINING WILL INCLUDE
First Aid, CPR, Defensive Driving, Passenger Sensitivity, and Customer Service Training, Proper Lifting Techniques, Wheelchair Securement, and Driver Orientation
