Night Shift Supervisor- 2ND SHIFT $17/HR!


Supervisor Responsibilities

  • Supervises cleaning staff
  • Walk the floor to review work performed by employees in the executive offices and other areas as designated by manager
  • Check special work requests or issues as requested by client and ensure that the request has been completed as requested
  • Trains employees on how to perform the functions of the job
  • Trains employees on safety procedures
  • Reports workplace accidents
  • Advises manager of workplace issues/ concerns regarding employees and equipment
  • Additional duties may be assigned as needed and requested by the client and/or the Account Manager

Essential Functions

  • Supervise staff of two or more employees
  • Provide training to new employees and orientation as required.
  • Inspect work performed to ensure quality standards are maintained.
  • Monitor time reporting transactions.
  • Inspect equipment to ensure it is in proper working condition.
  • Monitor safety practices of staff to ensure policies/procedures are followed.
  • Submit work request to engineering for items found in need of repair.
  • Distribute and monitor supply usage.
  • Reassign work assignments as required.
  • Performs discipline procedures of employees for poor work performance, attendance, etc.
  • Handles employee work schedules
  • Reviews time-off requests
  • When needed, covers during employee call outs

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: High school or GED graduate desired
  • Experience: Two years experience as a supervisor

Physical Demands

  • Manual dexterity to operate electrical equipment.
  • Stretching and bending
  • Mobility to move around a building
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs.
