Position Summary

Full-time position available immediately for the night shift. Duties involve general cleaning of an assigned campus building. You will clean floors, vacuum, sweep, strip wax and buff floors, shampoo carpets, wash windows, walls, etc. Empty trash receptacles and pick up litter; clean, sanitize and stock bathrooms, etc. Applicants must have the ability to lift heavy equipment such as a vacuum cleaner or floor buffer (l5-30 lbs.). Must also be able to understand and follow written instructions, chemical labels and warnings.

Qualifications

High school education desirable. General knowledge and skills related to routine housekeeping and maintenance work, with commercial/institutional cleaning experience desirable. Must be able to perform heavy custodial work and operate cleaning equipment. Ability to understand and follow written instructions, labels and warnings required, along with the ability to work cooperatively with others.
