The Hotel Hartness is actively searching for an organized, detailed, and professional full time Night Auditor to join our Front Office team.

Hartness Living, the Greenville area’s most exciting and architecturally stunning traditional neighborhood development, will be home to a new hospitality collection managed by Hay Creek Hotels.

The Hartness community offers a full-service elevated café, Village Kitchen, which opened Spring of 2021. With something for everyone, from a latte and avocado toast to go, to a lady’s lunch turned happy hour, Village Kitchen offers a southern, wood-fired inspired menu with the convenience of casual dine in or take-out three meal periods a day.

Hotel Hartness, opening early 2023 with 73 luxury suites, meeting and event space, and world-class luxury spa. Guest rooms will be well appointed with a fresh and modern motif, offering several different suite configurations designed to appeal to a wide variety of audiences. The hotel will also include two levels of indoor and outdoor meeting and conference space options, featuring large ballroom that can host up to 300 guests. The hotel will also feature a luxurious spa designed and managed by WTS International. With six treatment rooms and a comprehensive menu of unique and creative treatments, the spa will truly be something never offered before in the Greenville area.

Just a short walk from the main hotel will be the hotel’s restaurant, Patterson, opening early 2023. With a wrap-around porch and floor to ceiling windows, diners will enjoy waterside dining next to the tranquil and serene pond setting. The heart of the restaurant will be an exposition kitchen that will prepare a variety of locally and regionally inspired menu items. Village Kitchen, Patterson, and catered events are all led by locally acclaimed Executive Chef, Tanner Marino.

Job Summary:

  • Collect and organize all reports, receipts, and transactions for all property revenue sources.
  • Reconcile all day-end revenue. Ensure transaction processing balances and expected revenue is collected.
  • Populate Daily Revenue Reports and communicate accordingly to management team daily.
  • Problem solve any accounting activity issues regularly. Resolve technical issues as needed.
  • Manage all late-night activity at the property. Communicate and handle security concerns to appropriate managers.
  • Assist Guest Service Agents as needed. Ability to perform all Guest Service Agent duties including checking guests in and out, checking availability, booking reservations, and general customer service for all guests.
  • Know and practice all safety and emergency procedures. Lead emergency situations such as evacuations. Adhere to and enforce key procedures. Secure guest valuables and lost and found. Manage all security concerns and ensure guest safety overnight.
  • Complete additional projects as assigned by direct manager and/or accounting, including scanning of invoices, direct billing duties, report analysis, etc.

Hotel Specific Essential Functions:

  • ¨ Ability to remain standing for 8 hours.

  • ¨ Ability to read, write, understand and speak English.

  • 2 years accounting exposure required, hotel environment preferred.
  • Accounting/Finance, business, or related degree preferred
  • Supervisory experience a plus.
  • Overnight shift experience preferred.
  • Must be very skilled with technology and a quick learner.
  • Ability to work in a constructive, team working environment with a positive, upbeat and customer-focused attitude.
  • Proven success in customer service and handling guest complaints.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and busy seasonal days (i.e. town festivals).
  • May be subject to successful completion of background check and/or DMV check.
