Position Opportunities, Highlights and Activities:
The Network & Systems Administrator positions at ES3 offer an exciting opportunity to master a variety of computer, network, and communication systems through supporting, designing, and evaluating specific services and protocols which are currently deployed at ES3. This position will analyze network and telecommunications systems for any potential issues. Configure, test, install, troubleshoot, and maintain network devices such as firewalls, switches, VLANs, VPNs, DMZ’s, VM’s, and harden any type of communications egress/ingress. Additionally, the Systems Administrator will manage hardware and software systems through the role of supporting, imaging, configuring, and deploying schemes using Group Policy, Active Directory, Intune, Office365/Azure Active directory, GCC, and PowerShell. The implementation and maintenance of an ever-growing internal network will also require the installation and maintenance of surveillance systems, wi-fi communications, control access for security of personal and intellectual property, Windows and VMWare Systems Administration, systems clean up, Disaster recovery, cybersecurity, Infrastructure expansion and replacement, maintaining windows and Linux servers, VMWARE ESXi, and Exagrid.
The Systems Administrator will also be mindful of compliances with NIST and CMMC as a Government Contractor with the Department of Defense (DoD). Troubleshooting and resolving user issues/questions by providing critical infrastructure support of overall corporate goals and objectives. As an IT Administrator at ES3 you should have a willingness matched with the demonstrated ability and enthusiasm to support all aspects of IT at multiple locations in various states making it a mutually rewarding and long-term career at ES3.

This position is planned for onsite daily achievement of goals and objectives at our Clearfield, Utah Engineering Office or our San Diego, California Corporate Headquarters. You will be asked to toggle, as needed, with oversight of systems within our closely located 120,000 square foot aerospace R&D, laboratory, prototyping, testing, and production center. You will work and collaborate with nearly 200 engineers, scientists, and technicians. ES3 also has facilities in downtown San Diego, California; Warner Robins, Georgia; and Midwest City, Oklahoma. Candidate Education, Skills & Capabilities Required: *

• 5+ years of current experience in related discipline
• Windows Servers and Windows desktop OS, Office 365 Suite (E1/E3)

• Mac OS X/ MacOS and Apple hardware

• DNS, DHCP, Active Directory or LDAP, and file server permissions administration
• Network, desktop, and server security implementation

• Cybersecurity (Firewalls, VLAN administration, Network Security Management, Systems Security Hardening)

• VMWare ESXi / Exagrid / Vsphere - Backup and Recovery Solutions
• Maintenance and Administration of VOIP phone system (RingCentral)

• Troubleshooting and Solutions oriented approach

• Ability to create and maintain relationships with vendors
• Self-motivated and self-driven to solutions and implementations of ongoing and future systems solutions.
• Actively pursuing ongoing education and improving self-worth
• FortiGate Firewalls Deployment and Administration (desired, but not required)
• Demonstrated experience with Virtual Machine administration (desired, but not required)

• Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen
• As a condition of employment, candidates will be required to participate in a background investigation and be able to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance
• This position requires minimum to moderate travel (up to 2-3 days of travel per month)
• This position requires the individual to be on-call for after-hours support, accessible via text, email, and phone, based on shared on-call schedule. Living in close proximity to either of the Utah locations or our San Diego office is a plus.
