What You’ll Do:

As a National Sales Manager, you’ll lead firm-wide sales initiatives for our portfolio of student and conventional multifamily housing properties. You’ll oversee our team of National Leasing Specialists who travel across the country to support teams in the areas of leasing production and marketing for assigned communities.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Oversee sales & lead management initiatives in collaboration with operations to ensure the company is meeting or exceeding its occupancy goals for each property.
  • Lead and mentor a remote team to execute the leasing process which includes ensuring all leads are properly contacted and followed up on; greeting prospects and providing tours; closing the sale; assisting prospects through the application and lease process, including ensuring the proper preparation and execution of the lease agreement and all screening procedures; monitoring and participating in the resident renewal process, and ensuring the clubhouse, model and all tour routes are maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness and curb appeal.
  • Partner with Regional Managers to understand markets, communities, and teams as well as identify sales and leasing training gaps.
  • Drive performance through the tracking and analysis of sales and leasing related metrics and Key Performance Indicators for the company’s portfolio of properties.
  • Create and administer monthly and annual sales and leasing contests and awards to drive leasing performance.
  • Oversee the lead management process to ensure all leads are being followed up on and capitalized.
  • Assist in the development & coordination of sales related training.
  • Assist in the onboarding process to assimilate and engage new hires and new properties in the sales and leasing process.

You optimize performance in the face of diversity, achieve big goals, and manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment with many moving pieces and stakeholders and ensure goals reach or surpass the finish line.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, high school degree or equivalent required.
  • 5+ years of progressive sales and leasing experience in the multifamily real estate industry, experience within student housing is preferred.
  • 2+ years’ experience in a corporate level leasing and sales related role required.
  • Previous supervisory experience required.
  • Experience with Entrata preferred.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
