This position is responsible for the distribution, collection and organization of the choral library documents/sheet music.

Required Qualifications:
Position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. A minimum of one year’ experience in general clerical or administrative assistance is preferred.

Requires basic office operations knowledge and skills. Must be able to use Google Sheets. Must be able to communicate effectively with large groups of people.

Must be able to perform the duties of the position efficiently and effectively with minimal supervision and following well-defined policies and procedures. Must be able to communicate clearly with diverse populations in a courteous manner, exercising patience, either over the phone or in person. Must be able to work respectfully with individuals from all cultures, backgrounds, and perspectives.
  • Department and/or Student Employment is responsible for assessing initial and continued eligibility for student employment;
  • Requires current enrollment in at least six (6) credits and acceptable attendance at LBCC for two (2) of the most recent six (6) terms;
  • Requires Satisfactory Academic Progress maintaining at least a 2.0 grade point average (GPA);
Preferred Qualifications: Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Ability to use a computer. Requires speaking and hearing ability sufficient to hear over phone and carry on routine conversations.

Work is normally performed in an office setting with little or no exposure to health and safety hazards. Some evening hours may be required.
Essential Duties:
  • Distribute, Collect and Organize Choral Library.
  • Update Choral Library Database.
  • Communicate with the Department Chair on music quantity and inventory needs.
  • Ensure equipment and music department items are accounted for and update the database.
  • Distribute, Collect and Organize Choral Uniforms.
  • Communicate with the Department Chair on uniform quantity and inventory needs.
