In this role, you will join our Information Services Business Applications team supporting our end user community’s Business Central needs. You will work with the Project Managers, business analysts, technical resources, external contract resources, and partner with colleagues across Operations, Service and Finance.

Summary:
We seek to further support our business systems and end users in a dynamic and rapidly growing organization. In this role, you will join our Information Services Business Applications team supporting our end user community’s Business Central needs. You will work with the Project Managers, business analysts, technical resources, external contract resources, and partner with colleagues across Operations, Service and Finance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day problem resolution to the company’s Business Central end user community
  • Work with our contracted Business Central partner on issue resolution and system enhancements as identified
  • Partner with department leadership to document business processes, understand workflows, and analyze paths for improvement
  • Document and communicate clear and concise recommendations and technical specifications for process automation and continuous improvement
  • Communicate updates to users, project leadership, and technology leaders
  • Manage user setup, roles/security, and approval workflows in Business Central
  • Monitor and manage application performance and availability. Proactively identify, analyze, and respond to system issues and risks
  • Foster teamwork among Business Central end users and functional leads through education & training
  • Assist with designing, implementing, testing, and documenting integrations to external systems
  • Coordinate, troubleshoot, and maintain integrated EDI system with support of EDI managed services provider
  • Execute Business Central data migration imports and exports as required
  • Develop insights for cost savings and process improvements across the organization and among data management needs
  • Support Microsoft D365 Business Central patch management and upgrade planning/execution as well as new application features (new implementations and standard upgrades)
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years’ experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • We are seeking a technical Business Central resource but will also consider Business Central Users/SME’s with a strong technical aptitude and willingness to grow into a technical role
  • Certifications in NAV/Business Central or Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) are preferred but not required
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or relevant work experience
  • Passionate, proactive, collaborative, and driven/determined personality with a track record of meeting deadlines utilizing strong organizational skills
  • Ability to quickly learn new business processes and applications
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to express ideas clearly and concisely both orally and in writing
  • Ability to work well independently and in team environments
  • Strong project management skills, work ethic, and interpersonal communication
  • Business process expertise in the following areas desired:
    • Distribution (inventory management, order processing, procurement, etc
    • Service (work order management
    • Finance (GL, AP/AR, financial reporting, etc)
  • Integration experience including knowledge of Extract, Transformation and Load (ETL) tools desired but not required
  • Experience with Power BI and Jet Reports or equivalent report authoring tools preferred
  • Experience implementing and integrating with Microsoft Azure Cloud technologies desired but not required
  • Power Platform including authoring of Power Automate workflows and PowerApps applications desired but not required
