Position: Modified Assembly Technician

Hours: M-F 6:00pm-2:30am

Location: Jackson, Tennessee

Reports to: Team Leader

FLSA Status: Hourly - $17.81/18.81

Job Description

Evening shift is 6:00 pm to 2:30 am.

As an Assembler at Delta Faucet Company, you will join the team responsible for crafting dozens of creative and award-winning faucet designs for more than 60 years. You'll learn to use power tools, calibration machines, and complex quality testers to assemble our products in this role.

Our Assemblers are an elite group that loves working together; our team members work fast and wear many hats. They are also committed to providing outstanding customer service and improving our processes.

Here are just a few responsibilities you may have:

• Utilizing hand tools and equipment to build sub-assembly pieces or finished products from start to finish
• Rotating throughout multiple areas of the assembly department to produce many different product lines
• Reading product blueprints and supplying production lines with necessary parts by pulling the required pieces from shipping racks
• Participating in team meetings and staying dedicated to continuously improving our work processes
• Focused quality control by detecting and reporting defective materials or equipment issues
• Meeting customer delivery targets by maintaining a high production rate and assembly station time
• Cleaning the work area and production equipment
• Fostering a safe working environment for yourself and your teammates

Some requirements we have:

• High School diploma or GED
• Fast-moving team environment experience is helpful
• Prior manufacturing experience is preferred but not required
• Ability to interpret and analyze reports such as a Bill of Materials
• Good communication skills and interpersonal relationships are a plus
