Vaughn Industries, LLC is looking for an innovative individual to join our team as a MEP Drawing Coordinator to work in our Lewis Center office in the VDC(Virtual Design & Construction) Department.

Duties will include:

• Construct layouts for duct, piping, and electrical systems on commercial projects
• Work with other trade contractors to resolve clashes in the BIM model
• Work with field personnel to ensure constructability of design
• Generate installation drawings for use by field personnel
• Perform minimal design calculations using sound engineering practices
• Conduct field surveys to document existing conditions
• Other duties as assigned

• 5 years of industry experience preferred in commercial or industrial HVAC, Piping, Plumbing, and/or Electrical
• Experience with Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks
• Read & interpret submittals
• Ability to read architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical and piping/plumbing drawings and specifications
• Ability to adapt to ever-changing environments, as software is continually changing
• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Drafting or Design a plus!
