Mental Health Technician - FT Job at Coleman Professional Services
Coleman Health Services, a nationally recognized not-for-profit provider of behavioral health and rehabilitation programs, has an opening for a dependable individual to work with people with mental illness. Individual will be working in a residential setting in the Stark county area. Responsibilities include engaging with clients suffering with mental health and substance abuse disorders, monitoring client behaviors, helping with housing related concerns, and assisting with daily living skills. This position pays up to $14.00/hour.
The current opening is with our transitional age youth, working with young people transitioning out of homelessness. The hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm.
Qualified candidates must have high school diploma and experience working with people with disabilities, mental health, alcohol and other drugs, adults or related field. A clean driving record is also required. Experience working with mental health behaviors preferred. Good organizational skills, working knowledge of computers and willingness to apply skills a plus.
