If so, we’d love to connect with you! We are Mental Health Cooperative (MHC), and we’re looking for a Mental Health Technician to join our team! You’ll be working with a multi-disciplinary team monitoring consumers in the Emergency Services Department (EPS) and aid teammates in providing safe, therapeutic interventions to consumers receiving emergency psychiatric interventions. The schedule for this position would be Sun/Mon/Tues 7a-7:30p

To join our team, you’ll need:

• Ability to engage consumers admitted to the crisis walk-in center and assist them in getting their needs met while at the crisis center
• Calm demeanor to assist de-escalating consumers in crisis and provide on-going monitoring to ensure Consumer and staff safety
• A collaborative spirit to work with teammates to develop and implement initial treatment plans
• Ability to perform CPI and therapeutic restraint/seclusion when needed to ensure the individual’s safety and the safety of others
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) with minimum of 2 years’ experience working in mental health or healthcare environment
